Markham District Baseball House League is a community-centered, recreational program that is all about creating a nurturing, enjoyable and inclusive environment for children born between 2006 and 2020 of all skill levels.  We believe in fostering a love for baseball while teaching valuable life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect.  It's not just about winning; it's about making friends, having fun, and creating unforgettable memories.  Players rotate field positions for all ages.

Volunteers are the backbone of the House League program.  As parents, you are expected to participate as volunteers – as convenors, coaches, assistant coaches, team manager, score keeper, field setup/take down, and any other tasks that needs to be done on and off the diamond.  If everyone does a little, a lot can be done.

2024 Season starts Monday, May 27 and ends with Championship weekend September 6-8. 
For 15U & 18U, 2024 Season starts Monday, May 13 and ends with Championship week August 26-29.

Born:  2018-2020, Children born in 2018 may choose either Tee Ball or 7U.
Plays once per week.  Session starts with development and ends with a short game.
Times:  Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm.  Monday nights may be added if registration exceeds expectations.
Players hit off a tee.
Equipment Required - Glove, Bat, and Helmet with face shield.  Jersey and cap will be provided.
Cost: $275

Born:  2017-2018
Plays twice per week; one game, one practice.  Practice attendance is expected.
Times:  Mondays and/or Wednesdays 6:30-8:15pm.  Arrive by 6:15pm.  No sessions on holiday Mondays.
Players start hitting off a tee and then move to a pitching machine.  
Equipment Required - Glove, Bat, Helmet with face shield, and Jock/Jill.  Jersey, pants, socks, and cap will be provided.
Cost: $325

Born:  2015-2016
Plays twice per week; one game, one practice.  Practice attendance is expected.
Times:  Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 6:30-8:15pm.  Arrive by 6:15pm.  
A pitching machine is used.  
Equipment Required - Glove, Bat, Helmet with face shield, and Jock/Jill.  Jersey, pants, socks, and cap will be provided.
Cost: $325

Born:  2013-2014
Plays two to three times per week; at least one game and one practice.  Practice attendance is expected.
Times:  Mondays and/or Wednesday 6:30-8:15pm.  Arrive by 6:15pm.  Some Saturday mornings for 90 mins between 9 and noon.  No sessions on long weekends.
Some weeks they play Monday, some weeks they play Wednesday and some weeks they play both nights.  
Players pitch to one another. 
Equipment Required - Glove, Bat, Helmet with face shield, and Jock/Jill.  Jersey, pants, socks, and cap will be provided.
Cost: $365

Born:  2011-2012
Plays two to three times per week; at least one game and one practice.  Practice attendance is expected.
Times:  Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 6:30-8:15pm.  Arrive by 6:15pm.   Some Saturday mornings for 90 mins between 9 and noon.
Some weeks they play Tuesdays, some weeks they play Thursdays and some weeks they play both nights.  
Players pitch to one another.
Equipment Required - Glove, Bat, Helmet (face shield at your discretion), and Jock/Jill.  Jersey, pants, socks, and cap will be provided.
